The similarities between other foreign languages, learning process of Japanese language isn't that easy and simple. Old habit and the way of speaking in mother tongue, Indonesian language, is influencing the acceptance and management of Japanese language's which causing a different way to think of those language learners. Learning new language doesn't mean only memorizes those new vocabs and understanding the grammar, but also learning its culture and behavior of native speaker. A Japanese learner can apply his knowledge and skill with fellow language learner, starting from daily conversation and get know and accustomed with new term before go practices with native speaker. More and more experience that Japanese learner got from communication and applying their skill in Japanese language will come in hand compared with only learning language using printed media, such as books and magazines.
Variations of Japanese language are more or less same with Indonesian language. Japan is being an Islands filled country, has a lots of interesting dialects that suitable to be research and learning subject. People in Hokkaido, northern Japan of course using different dialect with the usual dialect of people in Okinawa, southern island in Japan. Vocabulary and suffix probably one of the most conspicuous differences of those dialects, but Japanese people is using Tokyo dialect as national language and it's the one that Japanese learners from Indonesia is studying that one.
